3rd Bali Ocean Swim

Kuta July 8,2012

With an increase of over 60% of swimmers from 2011,the 3rd Bali Ocean Swim was held off Kuta Beach in good weather.the 10Km swimmers set off at 9.45 and the 5 km and 1.2 km swimmers after.

The 10 km was won by Australian Simon Huitenga in the time of 2 hours and 2 minutes.

As BSF trustee Vicki Spencer said

“Another Successful Yayasan Damai Olahraga Bali Ocean Swim. Congratulations to the winners of all the events and all the competitors in all races and categories. Special thanks to Balawista Lifeguards for their diligence and hard work, Bali Garden Hotel and BIMC for their support. Well done to Ayuk Mahyuni for all the organisation, excellent job. The children of Bali who live with a disability will benefit most from the programs that are financed from the money raised. Thank you all.”
