Last year’s winner Komang Pande continued his dominance from where he left off in 2013,in the 2014 HOTAIR,Bali’s only kitesurf comp started In 2006 by Rodney Holt and run annually by BSF Asia together with Mario Bari .

In winning four of the five events,Komang won the Simon Horn Memorial Prize for best overall kitesurfer in Bali,Komang completed a successful weekend by grabbing the chilli in the Jump for Chilli worth Rp 5 million.Held in front of Sanur Beach Hotel,the HOTAIR now in its 8th year,was held in somewhat soft conditions,as the wind refused to cooperate, leading to the competition being delayed at times .However Race Director Mario Bari handled the situation with the finesse and confidence of an Italian orchestra conductor, and the event was completed in the allocated three days.
