BSF Asia and the SportGroup .

BSF Asia and SportGroup first met 5 years ago when SportGroup(Polytan) donated a sports floor , lawn bowl green and accessible toilet to BSF Sportshall during their annual gathering held then in Bali.In addition Sportgroup delegates got together and raised money for BSF to buy their first basketball wheelchairs.

The BSF wheelchair Basketball program went on to be highly successful , with 90% of the Indonesian Wheelchair Basketball team at the 2018 Asian ParaGames in Jakarta , coming from BSF programs.

And when the floor was not up to Polytan standards , CEO Stephen Niven sent experts back to BSF to re do the floor.

In 2017 , Sportsgroup (Polytan) supported BSF sending a team to Korea representing Indonesia for the 1st Asian Disabled Lawn Bowls Championship , BSF won a silver in the pairs.

In 2019 Sportgroup returned to Bali and BSF , and saw a vastly different BSF .Now with its own wheelchair manufacturing , active in other provinces of Indonesia as well as other SE Asian countries ,a trophy cabinet that is running out of space ,BSF has justified that trust over the last 5 years.

BSF is grateful for the trust Sportgroup gave a relatively unknown NGO in 2015 .
