BSF and indonesia athlete Damai Wayan presented at a lunch organised by GE at their singapore HQ, as part of their series for diversity and inclusion
Lilla Nyisalovits lead the group of GE employees questioning Damai about his experiences in disabled sports over the last 5 years representing Indonesia and training with BSF
Damai was joined by BSF trustee Cita Pramitaswari and his 13 year old Daughter, Melissa on her first trip out of bali
Friday may 10th – World para swimming and Rcma/iswitch
In the morning Damai and BSF trustee Chris Pardey joined the crowd at the opening day of World series para swimming in Singapore , supporting the Indonesia athletes in a very strong field at this excellent global event
In the afternoon Damai met with more than 20 staff of Rcma/iswitch who have been long term supporters of BSF Asia with cash , volunteer time and hosting athletes when in Singapore.
Damai shared his experiences in disability sports and also in help establish 2 charities in Indonesia both focussed on supporting disabled people in the last 5 years.
Saturday may 10th
Damai, Chris and Cita attended the Wooden Spoon hockey tournament in Singapore to support the teams and thank sponsors that have given money to support BSF programs – Rabobank, ING and FrieslandCampina
In the afternoon Dami joined the Singapore disabled lawn bowls for regular training session at Kallang
