10th Bali Ocean Swim – Big Success

10th Bali Ocean Swim – Big Success

BSF held the 2019 Bali Ocean Swim on Sunday July 7 , under the clear blue skies of Kuta Beach.

Now in its 10th year , the Bali Ocean Swim starting from the Bali Garden Hoel , drew swimmers from around the region  and beyond like Mexico,UK and more.

But most importantly was a strong Indonesian contigent , as BSF Founder and Swim Director Rodney Holt noted

“very pleased with the outcome,10 years ago when we started very few Indonesians took part whereas now ,I am pleased to see most of medals won by Indonesians particularly young Indonesians.”

Holt continued ” I am particularly pleased to see young swimmers in BSF’s special needs swimming program ,who 3-4 years ago would not even touch water let alone jump in,and now these young swimmers with autism completed the 1.2km ocean swim.Congratulations to their coach Ibu Fenny who swam with them all the way today in Kuta.”
We look forward to welcoming the swimmers back on July 5,2020
