Annika Linden Foundation sponsors the 1st Bali ParaGames

The Annika Linden Foundation will sponsor the 1st Bali ParaGames in July 11-14.

The Annika Linden Centre is a world class facility for non profit work and social entrepreneurship set on 3,300 square meters of land in Denpasar, Bali Indonesia. Co-designed by an internationally recruited team and local non profit leaders and currently under construction, the Centre opened its doors in October 2012.

The Annika Linden Centre’s central location in Bali, Indonesia — a crossroads for so many countries, cultures, and philosophies — facilitates a hub where philanthropists, non profits, poor families, volunteers, and social entrepreneurs share knowledge, experiences, resources, and connections to everyone’s benefit, and increase our collective ability to create lasting social change.

The Annika Linden Centre is powered by Y HUB, a social enterprise imagined and invested by the Inspirasia Foundation and its leadership, Chairman Mark Weingard and CEO Matt Thorpe. In addition to owning and operating the Centre, Y HUB also provides professional services to non profit leaders, social entrepreneurs, and philanthropists, to increase the impact of grants and programs across Indonesia and Southeast Asia.

The Annika Linden Centre is a lasting memorial to the spirit of Annika Linden, who was killed on October 12, 2002, in the terrorist bombing of a Bali nightclub. Inspirasia Foundation was originally established as the Annika Linden Foundation in 2003 by Annika’s fiancée Mark Weingard to as a positive response to this tragedy.

The Annika Linden Centre and Y HUB are proudly supported by some of the top business and philanthropy minds in Southeast Asia as we design our facility and services, including:
