Nengah Widiasih wins bronze

Bali’s 24 year old Ni Nengah Widiash ,won the bronze medal at the IPC World Powerlifting Championships 41 kg class in Dubai on Saturday 5 April.

In the event which saw Turkey’s Nazmiye Muslu set a new world record of 103kg ,Nengah who has been training at BSF Asia’s sportshall secured third place with a lift of 95kg .Nengah affected by polio from a young age ,has had a successful start to 2014 with a gold in the 2014 ParaSEAGames in Myanmar in January,and now has her sights set on the the Para Asian Games in Incheon, Korea in October.
