2012 Road to Singapore Soccer 6’s

On the 30th October,BSF Asia kicked off its “Road to Singapore” with the Tabanan Soccer 6’s,a Regional under 14 six a side soccer tournament in which the winner from each Regency tournament will contest the final round in the Municipality of Denpasar. The winner of the final will be taken by BSF to the “Singapore U14 Soccer Sixes tournament” next year. This tournament involves teams from all over Southeast Asia including  Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Singapore and India amongst others.

BSF will also be using the 9 tournaments to promote and teach road safety to the children. As has been well published road deaths in Bali from motor cycle accidents are on the increase. BSF has commissioned an international coordinator to develop a road safety programme specifically for children in Indonesia. As part of the entry requirements to the tournament all children will be required to attend, whilst at the tournament, a road safety lecture and pass a simple test. Attendance and passing a simple road safety test will be mandatory to playing Team results from these tests will count towards the team’s Results.BSF would like to thank the support of BIMC,Honda,Coaltrans & Coca Cola.
